Daily Wardrobe project view

Daily Wardrobe grew from testPWA into a local-first web app for everyday outfits. An example wardrobe stays separate from personal clothes, so you can explore before adding your own photos. The application interface is currently in Chinese.

From organizing to reviewing

  • Today: choose a city, view real weather, and receive up to three rule-based outfit suggestions; replace garments, save outfits, and record wearing them.
  • Wardrobe: import, crop, and rotate photos; edit categories, colors, and thickness; search and filter by category and availability.
  • Outfits: combine 1–8 garments, including layers within the same category, then edit or duplicate combinations.
  • Profile: manage preferences, review wear snapshots and feedback, inspect local storage, and back up or restore personal data.

Photos stay on the device

Wardrobe data and history live in browser storage. Images prefer OPFS with an IndexedDB Blob fallback. Optional on-device analysis helps fill category, color, name, and thickness fields; suggestions remain editable and the feature can be disabled.

Weather queries need a network connection and send the selected city information to a weather service. Moving to a different browser, domain, or device does not automatically migrate the wardrobe. Clearing site data can remove local content, so keep a backup.

Current scope

The app implements a local wardrobe, real weather, custom outfits, wear history, ZIP backup and restore, and offline application-shell caching. Automatic background removal, virtual try-on, and account-based cloud synchronization are not integrated. Real-photo analysis accuracy, mobile performance, and large restores remain under evaluation.
